Rest In Peace
Oh, it's so sad!! Actor Jerry Orbach, star of the hit show Law & Order, has passed away due to prostate cancer. He played Detective Briscoe for an amazing 12 seasons solving crimes and cracking great dry one-liners.
He had just left the show this season, much to the fans' surprise, and was scheduled to be a recurring character on a new spinoff, Law & Order: Trial by Jury. (Can you believe how successful this show and all its spinoffs have been?)
Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit have recently become two of my most favorite shows and as one of the fans, he will most surely be missed! Man, why do all the great ones have to go? First Superman, now Jerry Orbach. And he was only 69 years old.
