Look Who's Talking
I had to share this hysterically cute little experience with you all. Last night, while visiting my mom and dad for dinner, my sister called. She put my neices and nephew on the phone to talk to their grandparents. Then it was my turn to talk to them. My 7-year-old neice, Sara (on the left in this picture) had told me that she had a day off from school: Martin Luther King Day.
I said, "Oh, that's nice! Now, do you know who he is?"
She said very confidently, "Yeah! I know who he is!"
I asked, "So who is he?"
She said, "He was the king!"
After a few minutes of heavy belly-laughing, I finally said, "He was the king? Really. Well, what was he the king of?"
Her response: "I don't know!"
